BBHHS Athletics Coronavirus Update

Due to Governor Mike DeWine’s statewide order to close all public, private and charter schools in the State of Ohio, for a three-week period of time, all BEES athletic practices, scrimmages and games are officially cancelled through May 1st.  We will share further information, once it becomes available, about the resumption of athletic activities.  Thank

Bees Gymnastics are State Champions for the 17th Consecutive Season!

Congratulations to the Bees Gymnastics Team for becoming State Champions for the 17th consecutive season! This is also there 20th year of the title overall!! Also a HUGE shout out to Maria Schneider’s on her First Championship as head coach! She has done an incredible job this season! All the girls did an amazing job

Good Luck to our Bees Gymnastics Team who are competing this weekend at States! The 2020 OHSAA Gymnastics State Tournament will take place on February 28-29 at Hilliard Bradley High School. Good Luck to our Boys Basketball team and Wrestling team competing this week! Our Basketball team start playoffs tonight, February 26. The Bees will be home tonight as they face Lincoln West @ 7 pm. Bees Wrestling will be competing this Saturday, February 29, at sectionals.    

Pete Krusinski wins 100 Yard Breaststroke at States!

The boys and girls swim teams competed in the State Finals this past weekend. Congratulations to Senior Pete Krusinski for winning the 100-yard Breaststroke at States! Pete won with a time of 54.27. A great team effort to the Girls 200 Free Relay team of Riley McNichols, Annie Krusinski, Claire Kenney, and Karen Krosky who finished 4th place overall! They

BBHHS Winter Sports Awards Night – March 10th, 2020

The Winter Sports Awards Night will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 at 7:00PM in the High School Auditorium.  We will be honoring members of our Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Swimming/Diving, Gymnastics, Hockey, Bowling, Winter Cheerleading, Honeybees and Twirl teams.   Parents of Seniors Only:  If this athlete is the youngest of your children and at least the third to have earned a varsity letter at Brecksville-Broadview Heights

Bees Wrestling State Team Duals Update

This past Sunday, February 16, the Bees Wrestlers competed at the State Team Duals Semifinals in Columbus, Ohio. The Bees first beat Cincinnati Elder (45-21), advancing to the Final Four. They then faced Elyria and lost (Elyria 33 – Bees 29). The Bees completed the Team Dual Season 3rd in the State of Ohio.   National

Annual Hoopin’ Stars Game

This past Tuesday, February 11, was the Annual Hoopin’ Stars Game. The Hoopin’ Stars stole the show during halftime at the varsity game. Special shout-out to Ethan VonDuhn who hit a half court shot right at the buzzer of the Hoopin’ Stars halftime game! This was his second year in a row for this shot! Amazing job
